Het is een\u00a0<strong>pil met alleen progestageen (POP)<\/strong>, algemeen bekend als de \"minipil\", gebruikt voor\u00a0<strong>orale anticonceptie<\/strong>\u00a0Om zwangerschap te voorkomen. Elke verpakking bevat doorgaans 28 tabletten (allemaal actieve tabletten, geen placebofase).<\/p>\n<h3>Belangrijkste Toepassingen<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Primair: Anticonceptie voor vrouwen die geen gecombineerde oestrogeen-progestageenpillen kunnen gebruiken (bijvoorbeeld vanwege borstvoeding, roken na het 35e, een voorgeschiedenis van bloedstolsels, migraine met aura of hoge bloeddruk).<\/li>\n<li>Niet effectief tegen soa's\/hiv.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Hoe Het Werkt<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Remt de ovulatie in ongeveer 40-60% van de cycli.<\/li>\n<li>Verdikt het baarmoederhalsslijm om sperma tegen te houden.<\/li>\n<li>Verdunt het baarmoederslijmvlies om innesteling te voorkomen.<\/li>\n<li>Moet worden meegenomen\u00a0<strong>dagelijks op hetzelfde tijdstip<\/strong>\u00a0(binnen een tijdsbestek van 3 uur) voor optimale effectiviteit.
