Het is ontworpen voor\u00a0<strong>matige tot ernstige pijn<\/strong>\u00a0Dit is geschikt voor aandoeningen die langdurige behandeling vereisen, zoals chronische pijn door kanker, ernstige artritis of herstel na een operatie. In tegenstelling tot oxycodon met onmiddellijke afgifte (bijvoorbeeld OxyNorm), geeft Longtec het geneesmiddel langzaam af gedurende 12 uur, waardoor langdurige verlichting wordt geboden.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-2 last:mb-0\"><strong>Kernfeiten<\/strong>\u00a0(gebaseerd op offici\u00eble Britse productinformatie uit de Samenvatting van Productkenmerken (SmPC), via medicines.org.uk en EMA-gegevens):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Werkzame Stof<\/strong>: Oxycodon HCl (gelijk aan 5 mg, 10 mg, 15 mg, 20 mg, 30 mg, 40 mg, 60 mg, 80 mg of 120 mg oxycodonbasis per tablet).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fabrikant<\/strong>Mundipharma (wordt veelvuldig voorgeschreven in het Verenigd Koninkrijk, Ierland en delen van Europa).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Formulier<\/strong>Filmomhulde tabletten met verlengde afgifte (niet fijnmaken of kauwen \u2013 dit kan een overdosis veroorzaken).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dosering<\/strong>De gebruikelijke startdosis is 10 mg elke 12 uur voor pati\u00ebnten die nog nooit opio\u00efden hebben gebruikt; de dosis wordt aangepast op basis van de mate van pijnverlichting. Risico op afhankelijkheid bij langdurig gebruik \u2013 de NICE-richtlijnen bevelen regelmatige evaluatie en afbouw aan.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Het Risico Van Overdosis<\/strong>Symptomen zijn onder andere coma en ademstilstand. Naloxon kan dit omkeren (volgens de BNF).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Contra-indicaties<\/strong>: Acute ademhalingsdepressie, paralytische ileus, ernstige lever-\/nierproblemen.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Interacties<\/strong>Vermijd gebruik in combinatie met alcohol, benzodiazepinen en MAO-remmers (verhoogt het risico op sedatie\/ademhalingsproblemen \u2013 vergelijkbaar met een waarschuwing in een zwart kader van de FDA).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Zwangerschap\/Borstvoeding<\/strong>Categorie C; alleen gebruiken als de voordelen opwegen tegen de risico's (ontwenningsverschijnselen bij pasgeborenen mogelijk).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"mb-2 last:mb-0\"><strong>Gebruiksrichtlijnen<\/strong>\u00a0(Aanbevelingen van NHS\/BNF):<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Slik de tablet in zijn geheel door met water, elke 12 uur.<\/li>\n<li>Stop niet abrupt, maar bouw het gebruik geleidelijk af om ontwenningsverschijnselen (griepachtige symptomen, angst) te voorkomen.<\/li>\n<li>Houd de tolerantie in de gaten (indien hogere doses nodig zijn).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"mb-2 last:mb-0\"><strong>Beschikbaarheid<\/strong>: Alleen op recept verkrijgbaar. Niet vrij te koop.
