Het bevat\u00a0<strong>butamiraatcitraat<\/strong>\u00a0Het actieve bestanddeel werkt als een centraal werkend antitussivum (hoestonderdrukker). Het remt de hoestreflex in het hoestcentrum van de hersenen, waardoor de hoestprikkel afneemt zonder de ademhaling te be\u00efnvloeden of verslaving te veroorzaken, zoals sommige opio\u00efde hoestsiroopjes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-2 last:mb-0\"><strong>Belangrijkste ingredi\u00ebnten (per typische dosis van 5 ml):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Butamiraatcitraat: 7,5 mg (hoestmiddel)<\/li>\n<li>Bevat soms hulpstoffen zoals glycerol, natriumsaccharine, ethanol (in kleine hoeveelheden) en smaakstoffen.<br \/>\n<em>De samenstelling kan per land\/merk verschillen; controleer altijd het etiket.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"mb-2 last:mb-0\"><strong>Veelvoorkomende toepassingen:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Onderdrukking van droge hoest veroorzaakt door verkoudheid, griep, bronchitis of irritatie na een operatie.<\/li>\n<li>Niet geschikt voor productieve (natte) hoest, omdat het niet helpt bij het ophoesten van slijm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"mb-2 last:mb-0\"><strong>Doseringrichtlijnen (volwassenen en kinderen):<\/strong><br \/>\nVolg de instructies van uw arts of apotheker. De aanbevolen dosering niet overschrijden.<\/li>\n<li>Behandelingsduur: Meestal 5-7 dagen; raadpleeg een arts als de symptomen aanhouden.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"mb-2 last:mb-0\"><strong>Bijwerkingen van Codipront-siroop:<\/strong><br \/>\nVaak voorkomend (mild, zeldzaam):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Slaperigheid, misselijkheid, duizeligheid, diarree, huiduitslag.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"mb-2 last:mb-0\">Ernstig (medische hulp inroepen):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Allergische reacties (zwelling, ademhalingsmoeilijkheden), ernstige duizeligheid.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"mb-2 last:mb-0\"><strong>Voorzorgsmaatregelen en waarschuwingen:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Niet geschikt voor:<\/strong>\u00a0Kinderen jonger dan 2 jaar, zwangere vrouwen\/vrouwen die borstvoeding geven (tenzij anders geadviseerd door een arts), mensen met overgevoeligheid voor butamiraat.<\/li>\n<li>Vermijd alcohol of kalmeringsmiddelen (deze kunnen de slaperigheid versterken).<\/li>\n<li>Wees voorzichtig als u lever- of nierproblemen, astma of glaucoom heeft.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Risico op overdosering:<\/strong>\u00a0Kan misselijkheid, slaperigheid en een lage bloeddruk veroorzaken \u2013 zoek onmiddellijk medische hulp.<\/li>\n<li>Bewaren beneden 25 \u00b0C, uit de buurt van licht en kinderen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"mb-2 last:mb-0\"><strong>Beschikbaarheid:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In veel landen is het alleen op recept verkrijgbaar (bijvoorbeeld in Itali\u00eb, Oost-Europa en delen van Azi\u00eb).<\/li>\n<li>De merknaam van Codipront-siroop kan vari\u00ebren (bijvoorbeeld Sinecod in sommige regio's). Niet algemeen verkrijgbaar in de VS (vergelijkbare alternatieven: siropen op basis van dextromethorfan zoals Robitussin DM).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"mb-2 last:mb-0\"><strong>Bewijs en effectiviteit:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Butamirate wordt goed ondersteund door klinische studies (bijvoorbeeld gerandomiseerde onderzoeken in\u00a0<em>Europees tijdschrift voor ademhalingsziekten<\/em>\u00a0Het middel vertoont een superieure hoestonderdrukking in vergelijking met placebo, met minder bijwerkingen dan code\u00efne.
