Het is ongeveer twee keer zo krachtig als code\u00efne en werkt door in te werken op het centrale zenuwstelsel om pijnsignalen te blokkeren. Bekende merknamen zijn onder andere <strong>DHC Continu<\/strong>, <strong>DF118 Forte<\/strong>en diverse generieke formuleringen.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Het is verkrijgbaar als tabletten met onmiddellijke afgifte (meestal 30 mg), tabletten met verlengde afgifte (60 mg, 90 mg, 120 mg) en soms als vloeistof of injectie. In sommige regio's kunnen lagere doseringen worden gebruikt bij aanhoudende droge hoest, maar het wordt voornamelijk voorgeschreven voor pijnbestrijding.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><strong>Belangrijke Opmerking<\/strong>Dihydrocode\u00efne is een <strong>geneesmiddelen op recept<\/strong> (gereguleerde stof, klasse B in het VK) vanwege het potentieel voor afhankelijkheid, tolerantie en misbruik. Het mag alleen onder medisch toezicht worden gebruikt.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\">Hoe werkt dihydrocode\u00efne?<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Dihydrocode\u00efne bindt zich aan opio\u00efde receptoren in de hersenen en het ruggenmerg, waardoor de pijnperceptie verandert en een kalmerend effect ontstaat. Vormen met onmiddellijke afgifte beginnen meestal binnen 1,5 tot 2 uur te werken, terwijl varianten met verlengde afgifte gedurende 12 uur een constante verlichting bieden.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\">Belangrijkste kenmerken en voordelen<\/h3>\n<ul dir=\"auto\">\n<li><strong>Krachtige pijnverlichting<\/strong> \u2014 Effectief bij postoperatieve pijn, letsel, chronische aandoeningen en kankergerelateerde pijn.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Flexibele formuleringen<\/strong> \u2014 Opties voor onmiddellijke en langzame afgifte voor kortetermijnbeheer of continu gebruik.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dubbel gebruik<\/strong> \u2014 Wordt soms voorgeschreven bij ernstige hoest of kortademigheid (dyspnea) op advies van een specialist.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bewezen staat van dienst<\/strong> \u2014 Een al lang bestaand medicijn met een goed gedocumenteerd klinisch gebruik.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\">Aanbevolen dosering (volwassenen)<\/h3>\n<ul dir=\"auto\">\n<li><strong>Tabletten met onmiddellijke afgifte (bijv. tabletten van 30 mg)<\/strong>30 mg elke 4-6 uur naar behoefte. Maximaal 240 mg per dag.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Langdurige afgifte<\/strong>: 60\u2013120 mg elke 12 uur (aan te passen door de arts).<\/li>\n<li>De dosering moet individueel worden vastgesteld. Oudere pati\u00ebnten of pati\u00ebnten met nier- of leverproblemen hebben een lagere dosering nodig.<\/li>\n<li>Gebruik de laagst effectieve dosis gedurende de kortst mogelijke tijd.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><strong>Niet geschikt voor<\/strong> Niet geschikt voor kinderen jonger dan 12 jaar of bepaalde adolescenten. Vermijd gebruik tijdens zwangerschap\/borstvoeding, tenzij geadviseerd door een arts.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\">Mogelijke Bijwerkingen<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Vaak voorkomende bijwerkingen zijn:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"auto\">\n<li>Slaperigheid en duizeligheid veroorzaken<\/li>\n<li>Constipatie<\/li>\n<li>Misselijkheid of braken<\/li>\n<li>Droge mond<\/li>\n<li>Hoofdpijn<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Ernstige risico's zijn onder andere ademhalingsdepressie, ernstige allergische reacties, tolerantie, afhankelijkheid en ontwenningsverschijnselen bij langdurig gebruik.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\">Belangrijke veiligheidsinformatie<\/h3>\n<ul dir=\"auto\">\n<li><strong>Verslavingsrisico<\/strong>Langdurig gebruik kan leiden tot fysieke en psychische afhankelijkheid.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Interacties<\/strong>Gevaarlijk in combinatie met alcohol, kalmeringsmiddelen of andere opio\u00efden.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rijden en machines<\/strong>Kan aanzienlijke slaperigheid veroorzaken \u2014 vermijd gebruik als u hier last van heeft.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Juridische Status<\/strong>Vereist een geldig recept.
