Het wordt voornamelijk gebruikt voor de behandeling van een ernstige depressieve stoornis (MDD) en is ook ge\u00efndiceerd als hulpmiddel bij het stoppen met roken (onder de merknaam Zyban of generieke equivalenten). In tegenstelling tot veel andere antidepressiva werkt bupropion door de heropname van noradrenaline en dopamine in de hersenen te remmen, waardoor de stemming, het energieniveau en de concentratie verbeteren zonder significante serotonerge effecten.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><strong>Belangrijke Opmerking<\/strong>Bupropion SR 150 mg is een <strong>Geneesmiddelen op recept (POM)<\/strong> Het is een gereguleerde stof in veel regio's. Het brengt risico's met zich mee, waaronder epileptische aanvallen, en mag alleen onder direct medisch toezicht worden gebruikt. Effecten bij depressie kunnen binnen 1-2 weken merkbaar zijn, met een volledig effect na 4-6 weken.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\">Goedgekeurd Gebruikt<\/h3>\n<ul dir=\"auto\">\n<li>Behandeling van een ernstige depressieve stoornis (MDD)<\/li>\n<li>Preventie van seizoensgebonden affectieve stoornis (SAD) \u2014 vaak met XL-formulering<\/li>\n<li>Hulpmiddel bij het stoppen met roken (helpt bij het verminderen van hunkering en ontwenningsverschijnselen)<\/li>\n<li>Off-label gebruik kan onder andere betrekking hebben op ADHD of andere aandoeningen, zoals vastgesteld door een arts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\">Belangrijkste kenmerken en voordelen<\/h3>\n<ul dir=\"auto\">\n<li><strong>Dubbel voordeel<\/strong> \u2014 Effectief bij depressie en ondersteunt het stoppen met roken<\/li>\n<li><strong>Gewichtsneutraal of gewichtsverlies<\/strong> \u2014 Veroorzaakt vaak geen gewichtstoename (kan een bescheiden gewichtsverlies veroorzaken)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Minder seksuele bijwerkingen<\/strong> \u2014 In vergelijking met SSRI's melden veel pati\u00ebnten minder problemen met het libido of de seksuele functie.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Energieverhogend<\/strong> \u2014 Kan de motivatie verhogen en vermoeidheid verminderen bij sommige gebruikers<\/li>\n<li><strong>Handige SR-formulering<\/strong> \u2014 Tweemaal daags doseren voor een constant effect<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\">Gebruikelijke dosering (volwassenen)<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><strong>Voor depressie (Wellbutrin SR):<\/strong> Begin met 150 mg eenmaal daags 's ochtends gedurende 3 dagen, verhoog dit vervolgens naar 150 mg tweemaal daags (met een tussenpoos van minimaal 8 uur). De maximale dosis is doorgaans 400 mg per dag (200 mg tweemaal daags).<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><strong>Voor het stoppen met roken:<\/strong> 150 mg eenmaal daags gedurende 3 dagen, daarna 150 mg tweemaal daags gedurende 7-12 weken.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Slik de tabletten in hun geheel door \u2013 niet fijnmalen, kauwen of splitsen. De dosering moet individueel worden vastgesteld, met name bij pati\u00ebnten met een verminderde lever- of nierfunctie. Overschrijd nooit de voorgeschreven hoeveelheid.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><strong>Niet geschikt voor<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"auto\">\n<li>Pati\u00ebnten met epilepsie<\/li>\n<li>Geschiedenis van boulimie of anorexia nervosa<\/li>\n<li>Abrupte ontwenning van alcohol, benzodiazepinen of kalmeringsmiddelen<\/li>\n<li>Gelijktijdig gebruik van MAO-remmers (binnen 14 dagen)<\/li>\n<li>Bekende overgevoeligheid voor bupropion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\">Mogelijke Bijwerkingen<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><strong>Vaak voorkomende bijwerkingen<\/strong> Mogelijke bijwerkingen zijn: droge mond, slapeloosheid, hoofdpijn, misselijkheid, duizeligheid, angst, constipatie, overmatig zweten en trillingen.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><strong>Ernstige risico's<\/strong> (Zeldzaam maar belangrijk): Epileptische aanvallen (dosisafhankelijk risico), hoge bloeddruk, stemmingswisselingen, su\u00efcidale gedachten (vooral bij jongvolwassenen) en allergische reacties. Zoek bij ernstige symptomen onmiddellijk medische hulp.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\">Belangrijke veiligheidsinformatie<\/h3>\n<ul dir=\"auto\">\n<li><strong>Risico op epileptische aanval<\/strong> \u2014 Hoger risico bij doses boven 300-450 mg\/dag of bij personen met aanleg hiervoor. Beperk alcoholgebruik.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Monitoring van de geestelijke gezondheid<\/strong> \u2014 Let op verergering van de depressie, agitatie of su\u00efcidale gedachten, vooral aan het begin van de behandeling.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Interacties<\/strong> \u2014 Vermijd gelijktijdig gebruik met andere producten die bupropion bevatten, bepaalde antipsychotica of stimulerende middelen.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rijden<\/strong> \u2014 Kan duizeligheid of slaperigheid veroorzaken \u2014 wees voorzichtig totdat de effecten bekend zijn.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Zwangerschap\/Borstvoeding<\/strong> \u2014 Bespreek de risico's met uw arts; over het algemeen niet aanbevolen, tenzij de voordelen opwegen tegen de risico's.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\">Wanneer moet u uw arts raadplegen?<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Bupropion SR 150 mg mag alleen worden gestart na een volledige medische evaluatie. Regelmatige controles zijn essentieel om de voortgang te volgen en de dosering aan te passen. Het is niet voor iedereen een eerstelijnsbehandeling en werkt het beste als onderdeel van een uitgebreid behandelplan, inclusief therapie of counseling.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><strong>Bupropion SR 150 mg<\/strong> Het blijft een klinisch bewezen optie voor de behandeling van depressie en ter ondersteuning van het stoppen met roken, mits verantwoord gebruikt onder medische begeleiding.
