Het is een nieuwe psychoactieve stof (NPS) die structureel verwant is aan MDPV (\"badzouten\") en andere stimulerende middelen zoals \u03b1-PVP.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Vaak aangeduid met de straatnaam <strong>\u201cApenstof\u201d<\/strong> In het Verenigd Koninkrijk en elders komt MDPHP doorgaans voor als een wit of gebroken wit kristallijn poeder. Het werd oorspronkelijk ontwikkeld in de jaren 60, maar verscheen rond 2014-2015 op de markt voor recreatieve drugs als alternatief voor designerdrugs na verboden op soortgelijke stoffen.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">MDPHP werkt voornamelijk als een krachtig middel <strong>noradrenaline-dopamine-heropnameremmer (NDRI)<\/strong>Het middel verhoogt de niveaus van deze neurotransmitters in de hersenen. Dit leidt tot sterke stimulerende effecten. Het is niet goedgekeurd voor medisch gebruik en wordt in veel landen geclassificeerd als een gereguleerde stof (bijvoorbeeld klasse B in het VK, lijst I in Canada).<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\">Algemeen gebruik en administratie<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"auto\">MDPHP-poeder wordt recreatief gebruikt vanwege de stimulerende eigenschappen. Gebruikers dienen het doorgaans als volgt toe:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"auto\">\n<li><strong>Snuiven<\/strong> (neusinsufflatie) \u2014 de meest gebruikelijke methode.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Orale inname<\/strong> (bom in papier of inslikken).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Roken<\/strong> of het verdampen van de freebase-vorm.<\/li>\n<li>In zeldzame gevallen, door injectie (hoog risico).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Op websites over risicobeperking worden lage doseringen genoemd vanwege de hoge potentie: lichte orale doses van ongeveer 5-20 mg, met sterkere effecten bij hogere doseringen. De effecten kunnen in sommige gevallen enkele uren tot dagen aanhouden.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Het wordt online verkocht als een \"onderzoeksstof\", maar de zuiverheid varieert sterk, waardoor het risico op overdosering toeneemt.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\">Effecten van MDPHP<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Positieve of gewenste effecten kunnen onder meer zijn:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"auto\">\n<li>Intense euforie en energie<\/li>\n<li>Verhoogde alertheid en concentratie<\/li>\n<li>Verbeterde sociale vaardigheden (aanvankelijk)<\/li>\n<li>Stimulatie (mentaal en fysiek)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Deze gaan echter vaak gepaard met negatieve gevolgen:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"auto\">\n<li>Angst, onrust en paranoia<\/li>\n<li>Hallucinaties en psychose<\/li>\n<li>Verhoogde hartslag en bloeddruk<\/li>\n<li>Slapeloosheid en gebrek aan eetlust<\/li>\n<li>Spierspanning, hoofdpijn en verwardheid<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Hoge doses of langdurig gebruik kunnen leiden tot extreem gedrag, zoals agressie, zelfverminking of onvoorspelbaar handelen (bijvoorbeeld op gebouwen klimmen of de weg op rennen), wat bijdraagt \u200b\u200baan de reputatie van het middel als \"apenstof\".<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\">Ernstige risico's en bijwerkingen<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"auto\">MDPHP brengt aanzienlijke gezondheidsrisico's met zich mee:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"auto\">\n<li><strong>Cardiovasculaire toxiciteit<\/strong>: Versnelde hartslag, hoge bloeddruk, pijn op de borst, mogelijk hartinfarct.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Psychische schade<\/strong>Ernstige paranoia, hallucinaties en langdurige psychose.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fysieke complicaties<\/strong>Mogelijke bijwerkingen zijn: hyperthermie, rabdomyolyse (spierafbraak), nierfalen en epileptische aanvallen.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Overdosis en overlijden<\/strong>Gedocumenteerde sterfgevallen, inclusief ge\u00efsoleerde gevallen zonder andere stoffen.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Verslavingspotentieel<\/strong>: Hoog risico op afhankelijkheid, tolerantie en dwangmatig herhaald gebruik.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Langdurig gebruik wordt in verband gebracht met cognitieve stoornissen, depressie tijdens de afkickfase en ernstige ontwenningsverschijnselen. Combineren met andere stimulerende middelen, alcohol of opio\u00efden verhoogt het risico op ademhalingsdepressie of een fatale afloop aanzienlijk.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><strong>Letselbeperking<\/strong>Test de stof indien mogelijk eerst, begin met zeer lage doses en vermijd herhaald gebruik. Gebruik de stof nooit alleen.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\">Juridische status en beschikbaarheid<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"auto\">MDPHP is in de meeste rechtsgebieden illegaal voor recreatief gebruik. Het is verboden of streng gereguleerd in heel Europa, Noord-Amerika en daarbuiten. Bezit, verkoop of productie kan ernstige juridische gevolgen hebben. Online verkopers bieden het soms misleidend aan als een \"legale drug\", maar dit is onjuist en gevaarlijk.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\">Conclusie: Een stof met een hoog risico.<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><strong>MDPHP-poeder<\/strong> Het is een krachtig synthetisch stimulerend middel met effecten die vergelijkbaar zijn met coca\u00efne of methamfetamine, maar vaak onvoorspelbaarder en schadelijker.
