Gefabriceerd door Italfarmaco, is het een opio\u00efde antitussivum (hoestonderdrukker) dat wordt gebruikt voor de symptomatische verlichting van droge, niet-productieve hoest bij volwassenen en adolescenten ouder dan 12 jaar.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Code\u00efne werkt centraal in de medulla oblongata om de hoestreflex te onderdrukken. Het heeft ook milde pijnstillende eigenschappen. Raadpleeg een arts als de hoest langer dan een paar dagen aanhoudt.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\">Dosering en Administratie<\/h3>\n<ul dir=\"auto\">\n<li><strong>Volwassenen en jongeren ouder dan 12 jaar<\/strong>: 5\u201310 ml (10\u201320 mg code\u00efne) elke 6 uur naar behoefte. Maximaal 4 doses per dag.<\/li>\n<li>Gebruik de laagst effectieve dosis gedurende de kortst mogelijke tijd.<\/li>\n<li>Meet nauwkeurig met het meegeleverde apparaat.<\/li>\n<li>Kan met of zonder voedsel worden ingenomen. Niet aanbevolen voor kinderen jonger dan 12 jaar vanwege het risico op ernstige bijwerkingen aan de luchtwegen.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\">Mogelijke Bijwerkingen<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Vaak voorkomende bijwerkingen zijn:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"auto\">\n<li>Slaperigheid, duizeligheid of sedatie<\/li>\n<li>Constipatie<\/li>\n<li>Misselijkheid of braken<\/li>\n<li>Droge mond<\/li>\n<li>Hoofdpijn<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Minder vaak voorkomende, maar ernstige bijwerkingen zijn: ademhalingsdepressie (trage\/oppervlakkige ademhaling), verwardheid, allergische reacties (uitslag, jeuk) of stemmingswisselingen. Een overdosis kan leiden tot ernstige ademhalingsproblemen, coma of de dood.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><strong>Zoek onmiddellijk hulp.<\/strong> Bij ademhalingsproblemen, extreme slaperigheid of tekenen van overdosering.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\">Voorzorgsmaatregelen en Waarschuwingen<\/h3>\n<ul dir=\"auto\">\n<li><strong>Contra-indicaties<\/strong>: Allergie voor code\u00efne, ernstige aandoeningen van de luchtwegen (COPD, astma-aanvallen, ademhalingsdepressie), paralytische ileus, bepaalde vormen van diarree, of kinderen jonger dan 12 jaar.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Risico's<\/strong>: Hoog risico op verslaving, tolerantie en ontwenningsverschijnselen. Wees voorzichtig bij ouderen, mensen met lever- of nierfunctiestoornissen of een voorgeschiedenis van drugsmisbruik.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Interacties<\/strong>Gevaarlijk in combinatie met alcohol, andere opio\u00efden, kalmeringsmiddelen of bepaalde antidepressiva (risico op serotoninesyndroom of ademhalingsdepressie).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Zwangerschap\/Borstvoeding<\/strong>Code\u00efne wordt over het algemeen vermeden; het komt in de moedermelk terecht en kan schadelijk zijn voor baby's (vooral voor baby's met een zeer snelle stofwisseling).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rijden<\/strong>Kan de alertheid verminderen \u2014 vermijd het besturen van voertuigen of machines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Mensen die code\u00efne zeer snel afbreken (door genetische variatie) lopen een hoger risico op toxiciteit.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\">Voordelen en aandachtspunten<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Toseina kalmeert effectief een aanhoudende droge hoest, verbetert de slaap en het comfort tijdens ziekte. Als orale oplossing maakt het een flexibele dosering mogelijk.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Het is echter het beste om het te gebruiken in combinatie met rust, voldoende vochtinname en, indien nodig, honing- of citroenremedies. Langdurig of recreatief gebruik (soms \"lean\" of \"purple drank\" genoemd wanneer het gemengd wordt) is zeer gevaarlijk en illegaal.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\">Conclusie: Raadpleeg een zorgverlener.<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><strong>Tosine 2 mg\/ml orale oplossing<\/strong> Dit middel is een doelgericht hoestmiddel voor kortdurende verlichting van droge hoest bij verantwoord gebruik onder medische begeleiding. Misbruik kan leiden tot ernstige gezondheidsproblemen, waaronder verslaving en ademhalingsfalen.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Als u last heeft van aanhoudende hoest, raadpleeg dan uw arts of apotheker om te bepalen of Toseina of een andere behandeling geschikt is.
